      I like the sigil but wouldn’t make more sense for him to have the dire wolf match ghost and be white instead of black

      Yup, and one other major thing most people miss: until mid to late 1200’s the law worked under presumption of guilt and it was on accused to prove their innocence!

      Meaning that once that Farrington idiot made his accusation it would be up to Brenda to prove she is not guilty of crimes she is accused of. Jon stepping up and fighting for her was probably simplest way it could be done.
